「攝影的發明是長期與旅行相繫的視覺影像製造的一大躍進(註1)」照相機的出現改變了旅行本身,攝影既是對現實世界的擷取,也是觀者自身記憶的保留。 《遊客照計畫 Tourist》此作品以攝影為媒介,聚焦在拍照行為的本質上,透過在各個地方觀察遊客拍照的方法及其合照的對象,安排素人演出模仿遊客的行為,強化為拍照而拍照的精神,這種精神看似如同小狗撒尿,又彷彿是種無差別攻擊。遊客對著鏡頭擺出的動作,等待快門聲的標準笑容表情,身體與真實世界的連結,這些代表著當代生活的片段影像,說穿了不過是由相機所建構出的介於真實與想像間的假像。 
 
過程中同時以自身的經驗與極度的理性來處理這些場景,回應攝影記錄真實與製造影像之間的拉扯,這件作品不僅是單純探討被攝者、拍攝者及觀看者三者之間的關係,也藉由這種形式來重新定義大眾對於攝影藝術的認知。

"Tourist" is a contemporary photographic project dedicated to exploring the nature of photography and its dichotomy of recording truth and creating fictions. By observing common tourists' behaviors while they were taking pictures, I arranged an actor to create similar "tourist pictures". Through reenactment, the project becomes a semi-directed performance to challenge reality, imagination and memory of photography.
